Friendships can have a major impact on your health and well-being. So pick your friends carefully and decide which ones are not so good for your health as well.

Great friends are a positive influence in your life and are actually good for the state of your mind and body. Friends are there when you celebrate all the great events in your life and they are there when things crumble to the ground and you need someone to pick you up.

Friends can bring you love and laughter in the darkest of times, they can:

  • Help through a traumatic time

  • Encourage you and inspire your thinking

  • Improve your self - confidence and self esteem

  • Reduce stress by supporting your cause

  • Increase your sense of belonging and purpose

  • Develop your strengths

Think about who you want in your ‘friend’ circle and whether those people would be there for you in thick and thin. If not, well maybe it is time for a re - shuffle.

It’s usually those people that probably decide that you are not for them funnily enough. Embrace it and thank them quietly for the time you spent together. Time for some new quality friends to enter your life and bring you light.
